Los Angeles Dodgers Offense Struggles, Clayton Kershaw Can't Go Deep as LA Loses to Twins
Summary: The Los Angeles Dodgers needed length from Clayton Kershaw on Tuesday night, but they didn't get it. Last week, Kershaw threw seven stellar innings the day after a short Noah Syndergaard outing forced the bullpen to throw eight. This time, Kershaw only made it through four innings, leaving the bullpen to throw the last five. And unfortunately, the offense wasn't able to pick him up, getting four leadoff doubles but squandering three of them. The good news is, the DBacks and Padres both lost, too, so LA doesn't lose any ground in the standings.
