Nick Yorke, Red Sox Top Prospect Talks Offseason Work, New Stance & More

Locked On Red Sox - Daily Podcast On The Boston Red Sox show

Summary: Red Sox infield top prospect Nick Yorke is currently ranked the No. 5 Red Sox prospect in their farm system and was drafted by the team in the first round of the 2020 MLB Draft. When Yorke broke onto the scene, he impressed immediately and won the MiLB Player of the Year. Last season, he struggled a little bit and decided to change his stance in the Arizona Fall League and it worked wonders. Yorke is now playing for the Portland Sea Dogs, Red Sox Double-A affiliate and is producing better numbers due to his new stance and offseason work. WooSox Production & Content Assistant Jake Ignaszewski is joined by Nick Yorke to talk about how his new stance is feeling and what other things he worked on during the offseason. Jake and Nick also discuss how he doesn't allow the pressure of being a prospect to get to him and what goes into his mental game. Nick then shares his favorite hobbies to do off the field and some fun things he's done with teammates so far while in Portland.
