Summary: Jesus told His disciples on more than one occasion that He would die and be raised from the dead -- yet when it ultimately happened, they were still in shock and disbelief. Two thousand years later, <strong>we </strong>know that unless Jesus comes back before our time is up, we're all going to die one day. God calls us to repent and be saved before that day comes, and He's prepared to send us wake up calls through various trials if that's what it takes to bring us into relationship with Him.
