Summary: Once upon a time, there were people who would keep the plastic packaging around a piece of new furniture for as long as possible, in hopes of preserving its newness. The problem was, not only was it uncomfortable to sit on -- its intended design was being wasted. Our walk with God can often be like a new piece of furniture. He has a plan and a purpose for our lives, but we're reluctant to be used by Him. Yet unlike furniture, the more we give of ourselves to God, the more He keeps creating a sense of newness within us.
