Harry Lennix of The Blacklist and co-star of new PureFlix film Nothing Is Impossible

Harry's acting resume of almost 40 years includes The Five Heartbeats, Ray, The Matrix: Reloaded, The Matrix: Revolutions, Stomp the Yard, Commander in Chief, and many theatrical productions. He just celebrated the 200h episode of the hit NBC drama The Blacklist, where he plays Assistant Director of Counter-terrorism Harold Cooper. Lennix grew up on the South side of Chicago and was recently awarded a grant for the Lillian Marcie Center, a performing arts center in Bronzeville/ Chicago, IL to help expand black arts. Prior to acting, Harry was an English and music teacher in the Chicago Public School System. He also studied for five years to become a priest in the Dominican Order. He is active in many civic groups including the Advisory Council for Northwestern University, his Alma mater. Harry has been married to his wife Djena since 2009.
