Summary: Jireh is the Bread of Life. "Give us this day our daily bread" His name is provision for all my needs, Not all my demands. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field. Jesus told us to, "seek first the Kingdom of God" He wanted us to find him "hid in the field" He knew the more earthly things we processed, the less we would seek him. The Jews saw Yahweh or "I am" as their sole provision for all things. Not because they would receive all they wanted but all they needed was him. May we be willing to sell all that we have to buy the field. Jireh is all we need.
