Mainey, Maine's Fresh Veteran

Summary: <p>Today's guest is a rapper and musician named Mainey (pronounced Maine Ee), which is actually a name or other way for saying manly/man though most people use the name as a term meaning crazy, dope, fresh, cool, etc. The name was given to him as a toddler by his grandfather way before the slang/term came about, he was called Mainey since he's known how to walk and talk. Growing up in the 90's era, the life that was given to him was established in the metro Oklahoma City area to be exact. Not being a stranger to poverty forced him to experience all sorts of life situations at an early age and as time went by he learning how to write about them in songs as a form of therapy at a very young age. Gang culture, drugs, and petty crimes all too often play a part in poverty stricken societies of this day and age. As time went by life taught him how to take negative situations and grow from them in a positive way so to speak. In his lifetime he has experienced growing up poor, dropping out of school, prison, just about everything the streets can offer, and now here he stands sharing his life story in hopes of making a world change for the better of life for us all.
