When Jonathan India was announced the starter at second base on Opening Day, it was a surprise. When he was announced the NL Rookie of the Year it was no surprise. The rookie star for the Cincinnati Reds took the league by storm and is the most important player for the Reds to build around, as the seasons move on and Joey Votto comes to the end of his tenure in Cincinnati. The messaging from Nick Krall about this current offseason, though, is of cost-cutting and taking a step back, which seems to lend a thought to a rebuild. How likely are the Reds to trade Luis Castillo and Sonny Gray and could they actually turn it into a positive by bringing up Hunter Greene and Nick Lodolo?
