A Little Stand Out-y

The HourTime Show show

Summary: Hello and welcome to the latest episode of The HourTime Show, the official podcast of WristWatchReview.com. Your hosts this week are Victor (wrist check: this Cyma day-date) and Nicholas (wrist check: a Series 4 Apple Watch). Thanks for listening! So, watches! We open this week's show with a brief discussion on the Apple Watch and some of the rumors we've been seeing in recent weeks, including hints at an all-new design for this year's models (ie, Series 7). Apple usually hosts an event in September announcing its new iPhones and Watches for the coming year, so ~~watch~~ this space. We then highlight the new Norqain Adventure Neverest, which both Victor and Nicholas are into. That, then, sparks a discussion on what should and shouldn't be considered an in-house movement, a topic Victor and Patrick also discussed a few weeks ago. Does a brand have to make the movement on their own for it to be considered "in-house" or is there any wiggle room there? The last major topic this week is the new 38mm Oris Divers Sixty-Five Caliber 400 Limited Edition for Hodinkee. At $3,800 there's quite a bit of a premium over a standard issue Divers Sixty-Five but what are you gonna do? Listen as Nicholas gushes over the product photography here and wistfully remembers his brief interest in film photography. Time comes for us all. Oh, and if you're a glutton for punishment feast your eyes on this Undone Astro Boy. Yeesh. You're better off with the Unimatic SpongeBob! Outside of a quick aside for this Scurfa Treasure Seeker diver, that about does it for this week Thank you again to Andrew Haworth for producing. Make sure to keep it locked it WristWatchReview and @wristwatchreview on Instagram for more fun watch content. Have a great week!
