Summary: This is nutty. I became an instant mom overnight. It was just me and my dogs and then I met my husband and he had 2 boys. One of them is on the Autism Spectrum. I was working for myself and definitely treating it as a hobby. Well, his job took him out of state on a regular basis. We decided we wanted to homeschool so I went from no kids to 2 kids home full time while my husband was gone 2-4 weeks at a time. I really had to learn to say no to things and give myself some grace for my own sanity. Now, I can homeschool, manage the dogs, the therapies, and two businesses at once because I set some hard boundaries on my time.
