A Pod of Their Own, Episode 92: Live from the Citi Field parking lot

Home Run Applesauce: A New York Mets podcast show

Summary: Welcome back to A Pod of Their Own, a show by the women of Amazin’ Avenue where we talk all things Mets, social justice issues in baseball, and normalize female voices in the sports podcasting space.  This week, we have a very special show lined up for you all. We reunited, live and in person, in the Citi Field parking lot before Monday’s game between the Mets and the Brewers to discuss Tylor Megill, the future of the Mets’ rotation, potential bullpen ace Noah Syndergaard, All-Star snubs, and more. We were also joined by other Amazin’ Avenue podcasters and writers: Brian Salvatore, Thomas Henderson, and Michael Drago. Enjoy the lovely authentic ambiance of a parking lot tailgate complete with the sounds of planes flying overhead and greetings from passersby.  We wrap the show up as we always do with Walk-off Wins, where each of us talks about what’s making us happy this week, baseball-related or otherwise.  You can listen or subscribe to all of our wonderful Amazin’ Avenue Audio podcasts through Apple Podcasts, where we encourage you to leave a review if you enjoy the show. It really helps! And you can find us on the Stitcher app, Spotify, or listen wherever you get podcasts.
