George wants to take it to the dunes and see how legendary this jeep really is. They continue to talk about the Rubicon and all it’s features. It has a “quiet” button for the exhaust so you don’t rattle your neighbors. George says the Rubicon is the super vehicle of the Wrangler line. Before George say’s goodbye he shares his experience on driving the new Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody, which has 797 horsepower and how the widebody version handles better in comparison to the standard edition. Up next with Alan is David Borla – VP, Sales & Marketing for Borla Exhaust. Alan shares about putting a new Borla exhaust system on his brand new Jeep Gladiator, and how amazing it sounds! David shares how music helps him design the sound for exhaust systems. They go over the history of Borla exhaust and how Alan know’s David’s father and how great of a man he is. David says the market is always changing and they have to change with it or get left behind. He say’s most of their business is by word of mouth and how effective that has been. BJ Killeen – Automotive Journalist and Voice of Reason rolls up and joins Alan as she talks about driving the 2022 Hyundai Tucson. She says it’s Hyundai’s best selling model world wide. BJ says there are different models of the vehicle and how that allows Hyundai to fit any type of engine. Even with a smaller engine it still packs a punch because of the electric component versus the traditional transmission model. She believes this will be her next car to purchase. BJ talks about going to the Bronco Off-Rodeo event in Texas. This event will teach new owners how to properly drive the Broncos off road. Wrapping up today’s show is Steven Cole Smith – Automotive Journalist for Autoweek, Automobile Magazine, Grassroots Motorsports, they talk about the union between Tony Stewart and Leah Pruett. Steven says Tony is doing some drag racing, but not becoming an official driver. He says Tony is getting a new car and it’s designed to not need a big pit crew. Alan shares how 4 years ago Mario Andretti was saying how soon NASCAR won’t even need drivers, it will be all computer programmed. Say WHAAAT! Alan and Steven close the show comparing lawn mowers to cars and how similar they are, but it’s what’s under the hood that counts. Need More?
