Wilmer Flores, Mike Yastrzemski, and Mauricio Dubón each homered in this game. The Giants are among the league leaders in home runs and isolated power, which bodes very well for their offense this season. Despite jumping out to a big 5-0 lead, the Giants' bullpen once again made things too interesting. Jarlin Garcia, Matt Wisler, and Caleb Baragar had shaky outings, but thankfully Tyler Rogers provided some calm in the 9th inning. He allowed a leadoff single, and Brandon Crawford made a throwing error with two outs in the 9th, but Rogers pitched through it all to deliver another save. Finally, Ben breaks down the Giants claiming outfielder Braden Bishop off waivers from the Seattle Mariners. Bishop is the older brother of Giants top prospect Hunter Bishop, who was selected 10th overall by the Giants in 2019.
