Anna is the Non-Fiction Editor of Island Magazine. She received the 2016 Horne Prize for her essay ‘The Suicide Gene’, and is currently writing a memoir. She has also written for TheGuardian, ELLE, Meanjin and Good Weekend. Anna also publishes fiction, and she is the author of The Gulf and The Paper House. Her short fiction has been published inThe Big Issue, Island, Kill Your Darlings and The Lifted Brow.
