I hope that you all had delightful holidays and you're feeling bright-eyed, bushy-tailed, and ready to get out there and...listen to some podcasts.
This episode, RoShawn and I are covering the last of the stories before Turn Coat begins, from Side Jobs and Brief Cases, and as far as I'm concerned they vary wildly in terms of quality. 'Last Call' feels, as RoShawn puts it, like a step backward in terms of Butcher's abilities as a writer, and it doesn't really honor Karrin's character the way she deserves. 'AAAA Wizardry', on the other hand, is a really nice glimpse into how Harry has grown as a person due to his own experiences, and due to his practice from teaching.
Next week is Turn Coat, y'all, and I'm super excited. Thanks for listening, and see you next episode!
