It's a rough start, too, because the opening pages are Karrin on the Water Beetle and looking at the evidence of what has to be Dresden's murder, even though she can't really bear to admit that to herself. <br><br>And life does that cruel thing where it marches on, heedless of the fact that your world has completely shifted and the bottom has fallen out of your stomach. Karrin is contacted by Billy the werewolf, whose pregnant wife has vanished and who was told to find her in case Harry wasn't available. She gets drawn into a major plot involving the Fomor, who we've seen before, and has to see how she will fare as a regular vanilla mortal versus the big bad supernatural...without Harry. <br><br>Thanks so much for listening, and we will see you next week with the start of Ghost Story!
