Summary: When Jesus rode into Jerusalem on the back of a donkey's colt, He was making a statement that He was a king coming in peace. The crowds shouted "Save us!" because they thought He would overthrow Rome. The salvation that Jesus brought, however, wasn't salvation from Rome, but was salvation from their sins.
