Ep. 189: The Monday Night WARtchAlong Week 69

Summary: Week 69 (nice) is here! It's the moment Bang and Dang have been waiting for as we finally get to the see the match that has been built for the last few weeks: Starrcade 1996. Hollywood Hogan. Rowdy Roddy Piper. Icons. Legends. Will Hogan finally beat Piper in a one on one or will Roddy continue to have Hogan's number? Also, The Giant is being blamed for "dropping the ball" and looks like he is fed up with Hogan and the NWO. This leads us into the 12/30/96 Nitro and we open with more disagreements between Giant and the NWO, then a Hogan promo, the main event of Luger vs. Greg Valentine and finally Piper comes out only to be interrupted by the NWO and the Giant makes a big decision. To end the show we move over to the same night's RAW where we have a Bret Hart/Shawn Michaels interview followed by Jerry Lawler vs. Goldust where all hell breaks loose to end the show. All in all a pretty good night of wrestling.
