Summary: We like to educate on #Flashbackfriday about our sporting heroes of yesteryear. We reflected on the life and times of the late Timothy Nkonki who represented a president's XV against France, alongside the then Springbok captain Morne du Plessis. Nkonki became a Springbok after apartheid, when the SA Rugby Union retrospectively awarded Springbok colours in 2013 to all non-whites who had played for an SA national team.
