Summary: Breast Cancer indiscriminately strikes 1 in 8 women, regardless of race or social status. After a routine mammogram in April of 2003, Florida Supreme Court Justice Barbara Pariente discovered she too was among its targets. Now 13 years cancer-free, in this podcast she recounts her brave journey of survival and hope, while providing insightful tips on how to fight back and defeat this dreadful disease.  Justice Pariente has served on the Supreme Court for nearly 20 years. She is a staunch advocate of family law system reform, having chaired and served on various Supreme Court committees that looked into the current system. She is the proud grandmother of 10.
