In this episode, your host Paul Shearman and Darrell Taylor are continuing our brand new series called 'Get To Know...' which will feature some of the lesser known or more obscure characters across the Marvel Universe that you may well soon be meeting in a new movie, Disney+ series or comic book. This episode, we Get To Know...The New Mutants. First introduced in Marvel Graphic Novel #4 in September of 1982, a newly recruited team of Mutants made up of Wolfsbane, Sunspot, Psyche, Cannonball and Karma have to contend with replacing the X-Men at a time they are all believed to be dead, along with the emergence of their newly discovered Mutant powers. We'll also be looking at the first few issues of their own series which began in 1983, discussing their place in X-Men comics history, and give you some recommended reading to check out if you're new to these characters or just revisiting something you've previously read.
