Mighty Marvel Mix Podcast ep 57 MCU to PVOD

TaylorNetwork show

Summary: Welcome True Believers, this is the Mighty Marvel Mix, a Podcast brought to you by the Taylor Network of Podcasts. This is a podcast for fans of all things Marvel! Comics, movies, TV, merchandise, we've got you covered with news, views and reviews. In this episode, your hosts Paul Shearman and Darrell Taylor are straight into the conversation (literally, because we forgot to do the introduction!) about Mulan going straight to Disney+ as a Premier Access purchase. Naturally this got us talking about what this could mean for Black Widow - which is still scheduled for theatrical release in November - and the wider implications for how we now consume our entertainment whilst the big screen experience doesn’t seem to have the consumer confidence it may need to survive a pandemic. We’re also talking about the big news of Nia DaCosta taking on director duties for the Captain Marvel sequel, and how this brilliant choice of director could lead to amazing things for that franchise. Paul also shares his awesome fan-casting choice for Namor the Sub-Mariner, and we have our usual review of some of the latest comic books to hit the stands, including Empyre #4, Fantastic Four #22, X-Men Empyre #2 and the first two issues of Hellions. There was also an awesome off-air conversation about people who clog up the drive through when all you want is a coffee - but such was the choice use of language in that section we thought best to omit it...! As well as this podcast, you can also check out the Marvel Mix Bulletin, which is extra bonus content that features the latest and most up to date news from Marvel.
