Episode 173: Talking to Your Kids About Tragedies

Extraordinary Moms Podcast show

Summary: Oh boy. Where do I start? I feel so sad and overwhelmed and so many times these feelings leave me paralyzed into doing nothing. But we can't do nothing. When bad things happen, we can't do nothing. We must rise and let our light shine. It's hard enough to do that ourselves, but what on earth do we tell our kids? So today I'm talking about an article I read that really helped guide me in knowing how to talk to our kids about tragedies. And really these principles can be applied to other hard things, loss, etc... I'm not expert. I'm just a mom who cares deeply about showing my kids that their little light can make a difference and while there may be people who make bad choices in the world, their good choice matters.
Show Notes:
Check out the Today article I referenced here
Connect with Jessica:
Instagram//Facebook//Email: jessica@extraordinarymomspodcast.com
