Summary: In a ranking of states in the union—particularly regarding the response to COVID-19—New York is no doubt circling the bottom of the barrel. And at the bottom of that barrel is the rot and waste of an apple, the Big Apple, also known as New York City. Leading the race to the bottom is none other than Mayor Bill de Blasio and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. With the many opportunities to pander to causes they do not actually believe in, the politicians are taking down the rest of the citizens, turning New York City into one rotten apple.
