Summary: “Promise of New Beginnings Among Old Endings”, a beautiful upbeat track by the talented producer <a href="https://soundcloud.com/fortroad">Fort Road</a>, has inspired me to create a mix themed around our deep-rooted desire to be free from oppression and be in control of our destiny.<br> <br> This is yet another throwback mix that was <a href="http://www.djseroton.com/unwind-vol-28-guest-mix-on-friskyradio/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">released exactly 5 years ago</a> under my previous pseudonym DJ Seroton in a series called <a href="http://www.djseroton.com/chillout/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Unwind</a>. I worked on this mix for a while, and I was so pleased with how it turned out. To my delight, <a href="http://www.friskyradio.com/">friskyRadio</a> quite liked it and decided to promote it as a guest mix on their long-running <a href="https://www.friskyradio.com/show/chillout_sundays/">Chillout Sundays</a> on 7/6/2015. The <a href="https://www.friskyradio.com/show/chillout_sundays/06-07-2015/dj-seroton-at-06-07-2015">mix aired</a> and did really well that friskyRadio approached me for an offer to have a monthly show, which <a href="https://www.friskyradio.com/show/unwind/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">airs to this day</a>. It was an incredible feeling to finally get a worldwide stage for my mixes and a chance to reach bigger audience of people who appreciate this kind of melodic and positive chillout and ambient music.<br> Making this mix was a labor of love.
