Summary: One of the campiest TV shows ever was the 1960s Batman, whose success not only shaped television, but helped propel the careers of broadway stars like Eartha Kitt and Lee Merriweather into superstardom.<br><br>In order to capitalize on Batman’s success, ABC television scrambled to put together several pilots of the popular Wonder Woman comic book, until they struck gold with Mexican American model and dancer Lynda Carter whose on-screen charisma and gorgeous looks cemented the show and helped pave the way for today’s blockbuster films and television shows.<br><br>Today we take a look at the campy 1970s TV show Wonder Woman, Stanley Ralph Ross Batman’s screenwriter and narrator and, composer Charles’ Fox chart topping theme songs and of course Super Tuesday.
