Summary: In this episode Johnny and the guys discuss the recent paper published by Center showing similar adaptations in tendon with heavy load training and low-load BFR training on Achilles tendon size and stiffness. They also tease a number of things in the works, like a soon to be published monograph they wrote along with Luke Hughes, PhD and Stephen Patterson, PhD for the APTA (that thing is 70 pages long!!), Johnny’s upcoming talk at CSM on BFR and Heart Failure with Larry Cahalin, PhD, PT, the incorporation of BFR into PT school curricula, and a PT textbook they’ll be contributing to amongst many other course and conferences coming up in the first quarter.
