Summary: It's always a good idea to read, and today is book club day! We kicked off our first book of the year with a YA novel, and some of us may have only realized that during the recording of this episode. <br> <br> But before that: An unexpected tragedy shook the world this weekend when Kobe Bryant and his daughter, along with 7 other people, died in a helicopter crash. We get into this topic in the beginning, and talk a little bit about his legacy around the world and the complicated ways in which we view famous people, both during their life and after their death. We both send our deepest condolences to all of the people affected by this tragic event. It's always a good idea to reach out to loved ones, friends.
