Summary: <p>On this weeks episode of the podcast Matt sat down and spoke with Denis Murphy. Denis is the creator and host of the happy mindset podcast. Denis is also the author of a fantastic book "Taking my life back". on the show Denis and Matt spoke about the creation of the happy mindset post and the value that has brought to Denis's life. Denis shared with us the failures and success that has been his greatest teacher in life. Denis wrote the book Taking my life back in 2019. Taking my Life Back depicts an insightful journey of how to break away from the social stigma and mental labels that have branded some of us since childhood. Throughout the book the Denis articulates some of the personal trials he was faced with as he navigates his way through paranoia, hallucinations and addictive behaviours. In doing so he creates a structure for those individuals looking to overcome the traumatic me-against-the-world/kill-or-be-killed mentality in favour of gaining the emotional intelligence needed to rewrite the script, plot and setting of their past, present and future. Matt read the book prior to the chat and he absolutely loved the book and highly recommends it.
