Summary: To get away from her abusive mother, Leigh moved out at a young age and crashed in the basements of people she didn't know very well. She was soon running with a bad crowd, and became an addict. When she was at rock bottom, by chance, she heard Dr. Laura say one sentence that helped her turn her life completely around.
