Summary: In 2002, a 17-year-old Jamaican illegal immigrant was arrested, charged and convicted -- along with a 41-year-old accomplice, in a string of 17 sniper murders across the United States. Lee Boyd Malvo is serving 10 consecutive life sentences in Maryland and Virginia. The U.S. Supreme Court heard arguments last week regarding the constitutionality of Malvo’s sentencing as a juvenile.
