Summary: Welcome back to A Pod of Their Own, a show by the women of Amazin’ Avenue where we talk all things Mets, social justice issues in baseball, and normalize female voices in the sports podcasting space. This week, we begin by looking back at a Mets season that has been largely put to rest by a 1-3 stretch over the weekend. We think about where we see the offseason taking the team and share our appreciation for what has, at the end of the day, been a pretty fun and memorable season.
