Summary: This is episode 54 with Korey, Funky Phil and Pops (Korey's Dad Kim Pops Horn) in studio. Our guest this week is Caitlin Kalafus. Caitlin has been playing drums since the age of eight and began playing professionally at the young age of twelve. In 2010 she toured the country in Kicking Daisies, a band that won Disney’s Next Big Thing, appeared on national TV shows, made the Billboard Charts and were featured in a nationally aired TV commercial. Following KD, Caitlin continued to play in various bands while attending college for Graphic Design, and toured Vans Warped Tour with the Brooklyn based band, Mother Feather. Caitlin’s main gig includes playing drums for the iconic 80’s pop artist, Cyndi Lauper. She also recently finished up a US tour rocking out on drums and percussion in a scaffolding tower behind the Australian based tap dancing group, Tap Dogs.
