# 380 European Hurling & Camogie Championship Thurles preview

Summary: <p><a href="http://www.gaelicsportscast.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/europecrest.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-4197" title="europecrest" src="http://www.gaelicsportscast.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/europecrest.jpg" alt="" width="206" height="206"></a>Thurles is the place to be this Saturday, July 14, as an historic event takes at St. Patrick’s College when Europe GAA comes to Ireland to showcase for the very first time the European Hurling and Camogie Championship Finals.</p> <p>County Tipperary will get to welcome home sons and daughters and also get a chance to see players from 15 different nationalities playing the ancient game and battling it out for Europe’s top hurling and camogie prizes.</p> <p>The Finals will feature five Ladies teams, and five Men’s teams from Paris, Brussels, Holland, Luxembourg and Zurich.</p> <p>The games take place from 9.30 am onwards at St. Patrick’s College, Cathedral Street, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
