The latest example is the failure to release information on arrests for sex trafficking related offenses (while several members of their vice squad and the district attorney's office are currently being investigated by the FBI for involvement in sex trafficking and the protection of local pimps). Once again, we're reminding people about the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's actions on the behalf of Officer Kenneth Lopera, who murdered Tashii Brown at The Venetian Las Vegas on the Las Vegas Strip last year on Mother's Day. It's been announced that there will be a public "fact finding" review held where they will attempt to justify Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson's decision to drop the charges against Lopera. Of course, they picked September 11th as the date for that Orwellian titled hearing to ensure people's attention will be elsewhere.
