Summary: It was a beautiful Spring day and I finally had the chance to make it out to Jay Mountain to experience the infamous "highway in the sky" ridge walk I have heard so much about. It was even better than I could have ever imagined! Jay Mountain is located in the Jay Mountain Wilderness and is just under 3600' elevation in the Adirondack Mountains of New York.
