Summary: My guest today is an ex-combat Marine veteran, professional outfitter, hunter, photographer and videographer Ryan Baudhuin. Ryan is a gloriously bearded infantryman who came home from Iraq having lost brothers in combat struggling with his faith and direction in life. After going back to college, Ryan picked up a camera and started photographing his favorite subject… waterfowl… and everything changed. Ryan has gone on to film big game and waterfowl hunts all over the world and brings some of the most capitivating and dramatic images to life through his social media pages. We talk about his exploits in Africa, on the Bering Sea and even on the Rugby pitch! His network hunting show Backcountry Traditions airs on the Pursuit Channel Monday evening at 7 pm CST beginning April 1st. Ryan also has his own solo videography company called Off the Grid Videography and helps facilitate a non-profit organization which helps combat veterans, wounded warriors and children stricken with sometimes termination diseases experience their dream hunts.
