Summary: On this episode of the Christopher Scott Talk Show Podcast: It’s no secret the church is in decline in this country. I’ve watched as we’ve gone from faithful, to indifferent to now there is pure contempt for God, Jesus and the church, at least for some people. It’s been a gradual well-known change. In my own town, it’s a small town of about 15,000 people, at one time there were over 30 churches. Now there are more bars than churches. There’s barely a handful of what I would describe as actual vibrant congregations. Christianity has been doubly hit. It’s clear there is a spiritual and cultural shift going on. And as is the case with many things it’s something I’m curious about. What’s the impact, how does it affect us, does it affect is and all that led me to the question: Can a society survive and thrive without a church?
