S2 E20 - Reading Dispatched

Manchester United Weekly Podcast show

Summary: Hosts Harry Robinson and Jack Tait cram in an episode between two winnable Cup ties. The first saw Manchester United dispatch Reading with ease, a 4-0 victory at Old Trafford. The second comes on Tuesday in the EFL Cup semi-final against Hull City. While paying praise to Wayne Rooney after the Englishman equalled Sir Bobby Charlton’s goalscoring record at Manchester United, Marcus Rashford is also discussed after his brace. Even Marouane Fellaini draws praise. As always there’s an extensive youth and loan round-up as Kieran McKenna’s took an under-19 side to Germany for the Sparkasse&VGH Cup. United won the tournament after midfielder Callum Whelan saved two penalties in the final of the 5-a-side competition.
