Summary: On December 27th, 1986 20 year old Cara Knott was driving home from her boyfriend’s house; she called her father to let her know that she left and then she started the 45 minute drive home. Cara never made it home, however. The following day her car and body would be discovered under a bridge, by a desolate off-ramp off the 15 Freeway in San Diego County, CA. The investigation into Cara’s murder will shine the light on a once respected CHP Officer’s disturbing pattern of behavior and bring justice and closure to Cara’s family.
