He was once a respected police officer in New Orleans, serving for years until 1979. Then he was arrested. He began with aspirations to be a great cop, but he was quickly exposed to a darker side of law enforcement. While partnered with a veteran officer, he witnesses this officer violating the very laws he had vowed to uphold and shared in his crimes. One compromise led to another. Soon Robert faced arrest, so he ran.
