Summary: The old-time Tune of the Week for 1/4/19 is one of the Greasy String tunes. According to Adam Keisling there are six distinct tunes with that title. His choice for TOTW is the one Dwight Diller and Jimmy Tripplett learned from West Virginian Lee Hammons. I used tab on Dwight's site and combined it with Seneca Square Dance and another Greasy Coat Dwight recorded from Burl Hammons. I hear similarities on all three tunes.
