Summary: <p>Grammy-nominated chanteuse <a href="http://emilykingmusic.com/">Emily King</a> went into the family business via a different route, that of an R&B-influenced singer-songwriter. (She’s the daughter of New York jazz vocalists who has moved to the Catskills.) Her latest record, <em>Scenery, </em>due in February of 2019 (on ATO Records), promises to be a clever mix of R&B, pop, and perhaps a little retro disco.
