Summary: 'The Favourite' is based in 18th century England during the French war. During that time, England is ruled by a sickly Queen Anne, played by Olivia Colman. Queen Anne needs assistance because she is not very healthy or capable of doing much on her own. Lady Sarah, played by Rachel Weisz, is the Queen’s current right hand woman and helper. Suddenly, In walks Abigail, played by Emma Stone, a new charming servant. She feels that she should be in the same position as Lady Sarah.
