Summary: Midwest Avenue was started back in my high school days with my Dad, Uncle, and Cousin as you heard about back on Episode #5. As that ended and I did various other forms of music. Last episode we ended with the Armed Forces Entertainment tour I did to Honduras and Colombia. When I got back I didn't play music, let alone touch a guitar for almost 2 years. When I did finally I ended up starting a band with some new members but still with my Dad Scott Phares on drums but kept the name of Midwest Avenue alive. Here you will hear me talk about the beginning of this new formation of Meagan Hettinger, James Hopper, Steve Farmer, Scott Phares, and Steve Vincent as I am in my car on the way to our reunion show (at this point we haven't played together in over 5 years). Kind of wild how it all works out.
