Summary: Jesus tells us in Matthew 25:40 that whatever we do for the least of His brothers and sisters, we do for Him. Yet how many times do we pass up the opportunity to serve those who are hungry, thirsty, naked, sick, or imprisoned -- and in doing so, pass up the opportunity to serve Christ? When we allow ourselves to be led by the Holy Spirit, He opens our eyes to recognize "the least of these" -- often perfect strangers -- as Jesus Himself, and to serve them with the same love and compassion as He first showed us.
