Smith, a pharmaceutical products distribution and services business based in Springfield, Illinois.  As CIO David is responsible for developing and implementing IT initiatives to enhance the customer experience and advance H.D. Smith’s supply-chain and cost-management systems.<br> Prior to his time at H.D. Smith, David served at the C-Level of multiple major organizations including K-Mart, Office Depot, Owens &amp; Minor, GSI Commerce, and Axciom.<br> David earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Yale University, and has received many awards for his technology acumen, including stints on Information Week’s 500 in 2001 and 2003, Business Week’s Websmart 50, and ComputerWorld’s Premier 100 IT Leaders<br>
