Summary: You can follow Jason on Twitter @JStray79. Former MSU All-Big Ten center Jason Strayhorn enters his 12th season with the Spartan Sports Network and his 5th season as Football Analyst. Strayhorn previously roamed the sidelines for SSN for 7 seasons. A two-time Michigan Association of Broadcasters "Broadcast Excellence" Award winner, he also served as Big Ten Network television analyst for the 2011 Michigan State Spring game. A native of Indianapolis, Indiana, Strayhorn started 24 games at center for Coach Nick Saban in 1997-98. As a senior, he earned first team All-Big Ten honors. The former team captain also received the Up Front Award as the team’s outstanding interior lineman in 1998, consistently posting the unit’s top grade for pass protection by not allowing a sack the entire season. Strayhorn received his bachelor’s degree in business management from Michigan State in 1998. He owns a real estate investment company.
