I am stressed. And when I say I am what makes it sound is as if you are the emotion.</p> <p style="font-size: 14px; color: #3E3E3B; text-decoration: none;">You know I am sad all of me. 100 percent of me is sad. And you can see that in this context and there's no space between you and the emotion because you've made all of you the emotion.</p> <p style="font-size: 14px; color: #3E3E3B; text-decoration: none;">So a very practical way that I teach my clients and I use in organizations is just name for emotion feeling for what it is. It's a thought and it's an emotion or it's a feeling it's not a directive to action you know who's in charge here that's been caught with a thought.</p> <p style="font-size: 14px; color: #3E3E3B; text-decoration: none;">So instead of saying I am sad I'm noticing the feeling that I'm sad instead of I am stressed.</p> <p style="font-size: 14px; color: #3E3E3B; text-decoration: none;">I'm noticing the feeling that I'm stressed.
