He attended the US Air Force Academy, where he was a soaring instructor pilot, and graduated with a BS in human factors engineering. He served five years on active duty and attained the rank of captain.<br> After fulfilling his commitment to the air force, Travis co-founded and presided over Volition Interactive, a successful computer-based training startup and defense contractor.<br> Travis then embarked upon a 13-year career as the director of digital marketing for a pharmaceutical company with more than 35 national over-the-counter and prescription brands. In addition to his responsibility for the company’s entire digital footprint, he led several special projects, ranging from getting a human antibiotic approved for dogs to NASCAR sponsorships. His final project propelled him into the canabis industry in 2014.<br> Founded in 2015, Veedverks launched its first line of vape pen products in January 2017, followed by e-liquids and Amelia brand lotions. It now manufactures and distributes 12 products to 57 stores in 14 states.<br> In May 2017, Veedverks made history and gained national brand recognition as the first cannabis brand to sponsor a race team in NASCAR’s top series. Although NASCAR approved the sponsorship, they forced the team to remove the Veedverks logo from the hood of underdog Carl Long’s #66 Chevy before the race. Veedverks honored its commitment to the team anyway, lit NASCAR up on social media, and endeared itself to millions of NASCAR fans. Shortly thereafter, Veedverks sponsored Bobby Dale Earnhardt in a nationally televised ARCA race. In February 2018, Veedverks became the the first cannabis company to sponsor a monster truck, using the opportunity to raise awareness for nonprofit American Medical Refugees and US Patent 6630507, The US government’s own patent on cannabinoids as a neuroprotectants which proves that cannabis has medical value and disqualifies it from placement on Schedule 1. Veedverks now sponsors Tia Norfleet, the first African-American female NASCAR-licensed driver.<br> Hahahahaa!!! Rough Start, but “We Got This”.<br> What is your passion about, Travis?<br> He hears himself so much in his own head…we were trying to freak you out, Travis.<br> Travis tells about himself. There is still an echo for him in his headphones, but he does great telling all about his company. Partners are Air Force grads, started the company in 2015.<br> What made you get into this industry?<br> He was working for a pharmaceutical company and found out that Cannabis is not bad for you, but in many cases is good for you. When he learned that truth, the rest of his life he had to pursue it.<br> The medicinal part of Cannabis is actually over 111 cannabinoids which are all related to each other.
